Our History
Line Member School is a child friendly Mixed Day and boarding Early Childhood Development and Primary School that offers the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC). It is based in Kitale, Trans-Nzoia County. The school has two campuses, one in Kitale town center (Line Member Estate) that houses the E.C.D.E section and the primary school in Village Inn, about 5km from Kitale’s C.B.D.The School seeks to instill confidence and proper social ethics and etiquette in the pupil. The School was established in January, 2004, in Kitale town in a house at Line Member Estate with only 3 children and one teacher. Right now enrolment stands at 520 pupils with over 30 teachers and the school provides basic education up to primary level. Line Member School’s strength resides in a strong ECD program that trains children to communicate fluently and confidently in English while ably socializing at their level. The school produces pre-school and lower primary children who are able to read and count well, with a literacy index of 99.5.

Director’s Profile
I have a Bachelor of Education obtained from Kenyatta University coupled with a wide teaching experience in both primary and secondary. In addition, I’ve trained as a counselor at the Professional Counseling Association of Kenya. I have also served as a leader in my church at various levels. I am also a secretary to a prayer group called Christian Women of Kenya. I am the former secretary of Kenya Private Schools Association (Trans-Nzoia County). My Co-director Alex Sagara has wide experience in administrative management.
